Frequently Asked Questions
Do all journeys need to be pre-booked?
Yes. AZ Cars is a TfL-licensed private hire operator (licence 10668). Private hire vehicles can’t be hailed in the street, so every journey must be booked and accepted before it starts.
Can I book a journey for today?
Same-day bookings are often possible, depending on availability. If your journey is time-sensitive, call us on 020 8874 2000.
Which airports do you cover?
Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City Airport. For arrivals, we track your flight and adjust your pickup at no extra charge. See all our London airport transfers.
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based in Wandsworth and cover South West London, including Putney, Wimbledon, Clapham, Tooting, Earlsfield, Southfields, Balham, Battersea and Fulham.
Do you charge for waiting time?
Yes. There is no free waiting period: waiting time is charged from when your driver arrives at the pickup point, and airport parking is added at cost. Full details are in our booking terms.
Do you have larger vehicles?
Yes. MPVs seat up to six passengers and our 7-seaters seat up to seven. Our fleet & luggage guide shows how much luggage each vehicle takes.
Can I travel with a wheelchair, child seat or assistance dog?
Assistance dogs travel free of charge, and drivers carry folding wheelchairs and mobility aids at no extra cost. We don’t have wheelchair-accessible vehicles, so please tell us what you need when booking. Child seats are supplied by the passenger; let us know if you’re bringing one.

How is my fare confirmed?
